Can anybody else access her website http://www.sashapieterse.com/ ? It says I am not authorized to view that page, I was wondering if it was giving other people the same message. For An Angel (talk) 02:44, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality

How do we know she is a U.S. citizen and hyphenated American ("South African-American")?? Quis separabit? 01:49, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peruvian? What the heck?

In mobile view, some type of header at the top of the page says she is a "Peruvian actress" which is obviously false. Can someone fix that?Trillfendi (talk) 17:54, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That data comes from WikiData. You can get there by clicking on "Wikidata Item" in the left hand menu of the desktop view. I've changed it so that it should now read "American actress". †dismas†|(talk) 20:45, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

Would it be appropriate to cite her official and verified social media for her name change reflecting her marriage? She has changed all social media except facebook which she hasn't used in almost a year to Sasha Pieterse Sheaffer. Brocicle (talk) 12:18, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@
WP:V, to ensure she is being referred by her married name publicly/professionally. Her Twitter should be added to the External links section, absent an official website (does she have one?), and an inline cite to one of her verified social media accounts, placed by her name, may be a good idea right now.

The addition of her married name by IPs lacked any sources, which is why the reverts and hidden note(s). Even though I'm okay with the change, after seeing her social media accounts, I'd want to make sure there is no objection from other editors first. MPFitz1968 (talk) 14:33, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply

@MPFitz1968: I have tried finding secondary sources which comment on the name change but as with many celebrity marriages they refer to her by her most commonly known name. I know she has a few upcoming tv/movie appearances but I haven't seen anything about her saying she would be changing her professional crediting name to reflect her marriage and whatnot. Also I'm unsure whether she has an official website other than her DIY/food website. Brocicle (talk) 14:44, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It may be better to wait until she is credited under the new name. Note that this will probably be a situation similar to
WP:COMMONNAME for some time. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:32, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply
