Article Restructuring

What was the rationale for the major article restructuring that took place at the end of January 2015 and early February 2015? The addition of degrees offered by department may be useful, but the resulting list of faculty with no explanation of connection to the school does not make sense https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=University_of_Michigan_School_of_Music,_Theatre_%26_Dance&oldid=644996043. The later addition of student groups does not add much to the article, unless it is clearer what their connection to the school really is, and a brief history rather than the current description of what they do now (which is unsourced and reads like publicity) https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=University_of_Michigan_School_of_Music,_Theatre_%26_Dance&oldid=645319068. List of "notable alumni" would be strengthened if there were some sort of criteria for adding individuals to this list.

In addition, there must be some criteria for determining "notable" faculty and emeriti if this article is intended to gain any balance or rationale. And, it appears that current faculty members are editing the article, which constitutes a clear conflict of interest. School's History is Neglected

A section that actually discusses the school's history is needed. Extremely thin discussion now is devoted mostly to the history of the Moore building. Does anyone have any good online sources to suggest to improve this aspect of the article? Morskyjezek (talk) 15:25, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
