Plot??

I don't see the need for the plot of '7G Rainbow Colony' in this article about Selvaraghavan. --Madhu 13:11, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article uses lots of subjective judgement, including statements like: "Selvaraghavan is one of the India's emerging prolific film director whose roots are from the southern part of India",: The intention is not to dispute that he is an accomplished director. The fact is that the statements above are entirely subjective. They should be reworded as something like : "selvaraghavan is an emerging film director in the Tamil movie industry, widely appreciated for his ...."

"His directorial skills were appreciated by most of the India's leading directors and people concerning cinema.": Well, you can't say that 'coz you haven't really talked to each of India's leading directors, have you? It should be reworded as "His directorial skills have drawn apprecation from several promininent directors including X, Y, z". And you must provide citations here.

"The best compliments he has received are from the Press and from Bharathiraja who said of Kaadhal Kondein that "After Nayagan, it's the best film I've seen":- Again, we can't judge that. Simply state that "Veteran movie dir Bharathiraja is said to have remarked on "kK" that "After Nygn...."

"He has worked on his characters so well that you forget that they are stars and you can identify with them easily": really? thats what all good movies do. This statement has no merit. Instead you can state that:

His movies are characterised by their strong dialogues, casting and real-life screenplay.." blah blah blah..

Orphaned references in Selvaraghavan

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Selvaraghavan's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:11, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
