The wikipedia article on Oland states "Archaeological evidence indicates the island of Öland was settled about 8000 BC" with a reference, so the entry here is clearly incorrect. I am removing the statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.81.81.84 (talk) 18:35, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article on Sibudu Cave states that the artifacts such as a bone needle and possible arrowhead are from 61,000 before present, while this article blithely quotes it as 61,000 before common era. Equivalent dates would be 61,000 BP and 59,000 BCE or 63,000 BP and 61,000 BCE. Which is it? I suspect it's a careless copying error from there to here but I don't know. Research is needed. Readers looking for information about one or the other should not have to wade through off topic material that is of no immediate interest to them.
