Int'l goal tally

On this article, Arveladze's international goal tally is recorded as 22. However on the Georgia national football team article, his goal tally is recorded as 21. Could this matter possibly be looked into? --Paidgenius 16:55, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to the information from Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation, (a reliable source), he is listed as having 60 caps and 26 goals, and having played from 1992-2007. The national team statistics on the current wiki article are dated from August 17, 2006, and thus may be incomplete. They also list him as having started the national team career in 1996. Again RSSSF list his first cap in 1992, see here. I think we can safely change the caps to be: 1992–2007, 60 (26). ––Stochil 13:49, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey guys!

Does everyone agree that it says at this URL : http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Football%3a+I%27M+NOT+A+RACIST%3b+Shota+fury+over+fans%27+claims+he+abused...-a080361242 , originally published by the Daily Record, on Nov 28, 2001, that Shota Arveldaze was reported as having "appeared to have been caught on camera calling the Celtic stopper a "black b******"", as referenced from the passage of text which states "appeared to have been caught on camera calling the Celtic stopper a "black b******"" ?

Apparently I have to get some sort of agreement that this is what the text of the article says.

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.163.174 (talk) 23:09, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

it says he reportedly did, there is no proof that he did, i am a firm believer of not including speculative journalistic reports into wikipedia and i am sure many other editors would agree. A similar incident happened with this player but due to it being 'speculative' it was deemed inapropriate for wikipedia.(Monkeymanman (talk) 16:45, 8 June 2010 (UTC))[reply]
I'm afraid I can't really concern myself with other articles, or other alleged incidents. It was reported in the Daily Record that this person called Bobo Balde a "Black Bastard". Unless you wish to dispute this sourced fact, then I will be restoring this information to the article.
'sourced fact' is that really a 'sourced fact', does it really merit inclusion that this player 'reportedly' called someone that? There was no proof. It was a journalistic report from one newspaper.(Monkeymanman (talk) 13:32, 10 June 2010 (UTC))[reply]
The statement to be included is that "The Georgian international appeared to have been caught on camera calling the Celtic stopper a "black b******" shortly after Balde struck him in an off-the-ball incident.", as reported, word for word, in the Daily Record, by David McCarthy, on Nov 28, 2001, as is verified by this url : http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Football%3a+I%27M+NOT+A+RACIST%3b+Shota+fury+over+fans%27+claims+he+abused...-a080361242 Do you still wish to carry on disputing this issue, and deleting my entries? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.163.174 (talk) 23:56, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have not deleted any entry that you have made to my immediate knowledge, perhaps you could get a third opinion on this matter, or some other form of outside help within wikipedia besides what you have already attempted. There is plenty of choice here(Monkeymanman (talk) 00:01, 16 June 2010 (UTC))[reply]
What, precisely, may I ask, in your opinion, have I 'attempted'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.163.174 (talk) 22:20, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You have raised it on discussion. Or have you not? Monkeymanman (talk) 19:56, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
