The article states that 10,000 lbs of bombs were dropped on the target. I question the accuracy of this number as it is almost double the bombload for the He 111 (2500 kg/5511 lb), especially since it was a long range mission. Nibios (talk) 23:33, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see your point. I've rechecked the book source and it claims a bomb load of 16 bombs with a total weight of 10,000 lbs. Possibly, the source is just simply wrong or a mistake was made when it was translated from German to English, which would also have involved a conversion of kg to lbs.
