Animax (channel 324) has been removed from In Digital Cable since 20th March 2013. I've tried to contact my cable operator and In Digital Customer care, but they only come up with one excuse after another saying that the channel "might" be back sooner or later.

Secondly, my local cable operator also provides Hathway, when I inquired about Animax I was informed that it is NOT available on hathway. Many say that its still available on hathway so can anyone confirm this information ? @Sidaq pratap: Here's a YouTube footage I found of Animax India becoming Sony Yay. It's similar to how Discovery Kids USA became The Hub, and then, years later, Discovery Family. You may think the new channel has replaced the old one, but technically, it's the same channel rebranded and reformatted. See also Talk:Discovery Family#Re: Merger with Discovery Kids.

The ongoing disruptive edits over this page needs to be settled down. So I'd like to ask for some comment and a sort of arbitration.

1. Should Sony Yay considered to be the new channel that replaced the now-defunct Animax India, or should it be that Animax India was simply rebranded and reformatted into Sony Yay?
2. How is the Animax section at SPNI's
   Sony Liv
   OTT streaming service actually operated like, including VOD titles and the scheduling of linear channel (if there is)?

For the record,

1. I'd like to consider that Animax India was rebranded and reformatted as Sony Yay (similar to how Discovery Kids USA became The Hub, and then Discovery Family), judging from this footage on YouTube of the changeover of the Indian channel.
2. I'm not in India, so I can't check for myself about how does it running like. Some of Sony Liv contents, including the Animax section, are geolocked.
