The following was removed because it needs explanation, grammar, help, and I'm not sure it belongs in an encyclopedia entry to begin with. "A dormitory was built and named after James R. Maupin called Maupin Hall. It is one of the few remaining buildings on the older portion of the campus. The dorm was became a thriving place for male students to live under the Resider Directorship of Dave Meyers from the mid-1990's to 2002. However, in 2004 SBU president C.
