Content is way different from reality

This page potrayes this post("spouse of the prime minister of India") as an officially recognised post, whereas there is nothing like this in reality, it shound me better named as "list of spouses of the Prime minister of india" moreover there is no such term as "First spouse" niether officially nor even in the media, the writting format of this page must be changed to a list. The content of this page tends to potray this post as an equal to similar posts in Presidential republics like The
First Lady of The United States n other similar posts in Presidential republics, whereas no such system is prevalen in India, because India follows a complete Parliamentary form of Government. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Innocentbunny (talkcontribs) 05:06, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply

Agree. This is simply a list of persons married to the prime-ministers and Wikipedia shouldn't be reifying that into an office analogous to
FLOTUS. Even the only cited source that speaks on the subject is comenting on the minimal role the spouses play, noting that, "there is no customary role for the first spouse in India. This is unlike Western countries, particularly the US, where the first lady has her own staff and pursues certain agendas, though mostly non-political."
