I never heard of that term, and I would say the English translation is wrong, as Stahlhelm translates steel helmet, not steel helmut. --Abdull 22:21, 19 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The term is known in Germany. It was used especially during the 80s and 90s to describe politician like Dregger, Kanther or Carstens.15:36, 29 April 2011 (UTC)Ampsivare (talk)
