Pictures

The pictures for both attractions are going to be needed to be replaced soon. There are already several pictures of both rides online, that show that they are different then they were before. For example: Star Tours Live Photos ~ Jedi94 (talk) 15:55, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should replace the Ride section to include more detailed pictures of all the six destinations. Here is a preview of how it may look:

There are eleven random segments of the film (three primary destination segments, three secondary destinations, three hologram message segments, and two alternate openings; all when permutated equal 54.) which are presented in the ride:
  • The Starspeeder 1000 takes off, although C-3PO protests he is not the captain. As the ship is about to leave the Star Tours terminal, two scenes may occur:
  • As an Imperial probe droid detects the presence of the Rebel spy, the Starspeeder follows the Millennium Falcon which is being piloted by Han Solo, who is also trying to escape the Imperial fleet.

  • After jumping into

    , three segments are possible:
  • Then, back into space, a holo transmission of either
    Master Yoda
orders the Starspeeder to take the Rebel spy to a safe location.
  • Despite C-3PO's protests, R2-D2 takes the speeder to three different outcomes:

I know it's missing pictures but those can be uploaded later. Giggett (talk) 22:05, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Attraction > Queue > "LCD screen"

If you look at (or photograph) the "large

LCD screen
" up close you'll see it's almost certainly a rear-projected DLP display. An LCD this size would be extraordinarily expensive, plus at an angle the middle would sag and presumably degrade performance.

If anybody runs across a reference to this actually being an LCD or otherwise (DLP, etc) the reference should be added. In the meantime it might be better to refer to the screen as something like "large video display". HighLeveller (talk) 02:16, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
