Full name?

Rather than revert the edit, I thought I'd post for comment on the talk page: is his full first name Stevonne, or is it Steve L.? I've seen Stevonne on multiple pages, and it used to be Stevonne on ESPN. Now it says "Steve L.", but you can still find Stevonne on Yahoo, CNN/SI, and other pages. Anyone have an answer to this one? Neutrality?

This whole article smacks of unabashed fandom. Steve Smith might be a "generous and disciplined" person (although this is contradicted by the anecdote later in the article regarding his punching a player in the face) and his athletic feats might be considered "outstanding", "amazing", "impressive", "stunning", "game-breaking" or having a "major impact" to some of us, it reads like a bio that the Carolina Panthers would put in their media guide. The only section I think that needs removed is the "playing style" the rest is relatively fine and total neutrality will never be achieved about an athlete's playing ability, but certainly the section "playing style" is poorly done —The preceding

I do agree with Ben, the "playing style" part of the article does violate the neutrality and starts going into fandom. However, I see no problem with the rest of the article.Queen Serenity 23:39 July 6th, 2007 (EST)

First sections

"Smith spent most of his early years in the Athen’s Park neighborhood of south Los Angeles. Although Athen’s Park was relatively better than other underprivileged neighborhoods in the area, it was still plagued with explicit drug activity and gang related violence. As Smith grew up, he witnessed several horrific crimes. Although many of the crimes did not directly affect him, he was disgusted by the fact that no one cared to correct or improve the situation." Can someone find some sources for this info? RC-0722 communicator/kills 01:51, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was paraphrased from an earlier draft of this article, which was taken from JockBio.com. --ShadowJester07Talk 02:29, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements

I have made many improvements to the article in basically every section – don't add any new info to the article without sourcing it 24.74.42.80 (talk) 15:40, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TMI (2015 season)

Does an encyclopedia entry really need to quote twitter comments that do not contain any relevant information? The article is already long enough and shouldn't be blown up by unnecessary blabla. 178.2.23.3 (talk) 12:05, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
