Name
If the Division of Sturt was formed in 1949 (according to its page) the name can't came from the dvision as per the link. Is is named after the cricket club (Sturt Cricket Club)? [1] This link says they were both formed by Arthur Thomas. The suburb Sturt (Sturt, South Australia)is not that close to Unley so I have never understood they weren't Unley. -- The signature doesn't seem to be working —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.4.78.29 (talk) 09:29, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Grand Finals
The SANFL page says Sturt has played in 24 Grand Finals [[2]] the page has 22. I identified Sturt finished 2nd in 1923 but did not play in the Grand Final that year [[3]]. The list presently on the page does seem to be 23 Grand Finals but I cannot identify why the SANFL page has more. - Eas21c (talk) 13:40, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, it would be the 1919 replay [[4]]- Eas21c (talk) 13:44, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
