this policy on external links, number 9, "Any search results pages, such as links to individual website searches, search engines, search aggregators, or RSS feeds." Because it's a link to a search engine result, you should remove the link. It's okay if you don't have an external links section! In fact, I often don't have one for the articles that I write.
