Possible improvements

I have added an infobox and tweaked the structure of the article so that it now meets the structure criteria for a B class article. However, I believe it still lacks for citations and coverage. I do not know anything about this topic, so I cannot help with this. If someone who has knowledge and sources in this area could help that would be great. A couple of suggestions I have for improving this article up to B class standard are:

  • Images: Is there an image of the complete medal that can be added to the infobox?
  • Referencing: the addition of in line citations and a source/references would help improve the article by providing readers with the ability to verify the information;
  • Coverage: a History section could be added to the article which discusses when and why the medal came about. Also perhaps it could discuss whether the medal is equal to the Congressional Medal of Honor and the circumstances behind why a serviceman would receive one and not the other;

Just a couple of ideas. If you would like more in depth comments you might like to submit the article for peer review. This can be done by going to

WP:MHA. Hope this helps. AustralianRupert (talk) 09:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply
