NZ chart positions

I'm not sure whether to add the chart positions reached in the NZ charts for the Chills' singles - they are, after all, a NewZealand band, but this table looks as though it's a standard one used for all singles. FWIW, I'll put what info I know (which is only up to 1988, sadly) here - if someone wants to add it to the article, feel free (ref: "Stranded in Paradise", by John Dix). Singles:

  • "Rolling Moon" (1982, reached no. 26)
  • "Pink Frost" (1984, 17)
  • "Doledrums" (1984, 12)
  • "The Lost EP" (1985, 4)
  • "I Love My Leather Jacket" (1987, 4)

Albums:

  • "Kaleidoscope Wolrd" (1986, 19)
  • "Brave Words" (1988, 24)

ISTR that "Heavenly Pop Hit" went to no. 1, but I have no evidence to back that up) Grutness...wha? 23:44, 5 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pink Frost

I played drums on it, and that's a fact, because Danny Hyde asked me to. (He was the assistant engineer at The Point studio back then) BTW, I never got paid for it. If anyone contests that, they should send an e-mail to Danny Hyde and ask him.--andreasegde (talk) 01:07, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hmmmmm Alan Haig said he played drums on it too. Bill Latimer was saying he recorded it at The Lab and it was sent somewhere else to be mixed... Would it be that it was sent to The Point Studio to be mixed? You re did the drums or something? I guess it was so long ago, nobody remembers for sure. Was Martin Bull that actually played on it. What's you exact take on it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Supertramp97 (talkcontribs) 00:14, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Discography changes

Rationale for changes to Discography tables:

  1. Moved Somewhere Beautiful into a Live albums subSection as it is not a Studio album.
  2. Removed Sketch Book: Volume One from Studio albums as it is a solo album by Phillipps. Its still mentioned in main text.
  3. Removed Pop Art Toasters from Extended plays as it is an EP by another group – not the Chills. Its still mention in main text.
  4. All the tables now have their own headings, columns are closer to being the same width for all tables except Singles.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 12:06, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
