Trivia
the trivia section mentions Robert Picardo as a member of the cast, however he isn't mentioned anywhere else. Can someone add him/ remove him from either section? Jonomacdrones 19:34, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Before The Pagemaster was a film, it was also an illustrated children's book. Do you think that should be mentioned anywhere?Viewer 07:37, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sure. Do you happen to have the book, so you could give a small overview of it? - Redmess 21:05, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
"Macaulay Culkin Like You've Never Seen Him Before!"
Or words to that effect where used in ...something. I recall hearing or possibly reading it, and at the time thinking "Yeah, unless you count Wish Kid!" but nothing I could find on-line turned up the line, or something very similar to it. Am I just imagining the line, or was it used in some of the marketing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.254.80.115 (talk) 04:49, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Star Trek Trivia What?
It's a surprisingly irrelevant bit of trivia that somehow a great number of the cast also have done something, sometime, for something Star Trek—and a couple for Transformers too! Is this so unusual to The Pagemaster that it warrants mention? Perhaps the next movie I look up will mention that "All cast members have appeared as suspects of victims on some series of Law & Order." Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing that. 50.50.94.250 (talk) 00:36, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Box office error?
Why does the box office data in the infobox say $68,352,926 when Box Office Mojo says the domestic gross is $13,670,688?[1] If that's the foreign box office, is there a source? --Albany NY (talk) 05:42, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- For the record it seems it was vandalism. I was trying to figure out where the article went from listing the budget as $21 million (without any source) to $27 million (again without any apparent source). -- 109.79.92.109 (talk) 19:49, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- For years the Infobox claimed the budget was $21 million. An edit later "corrected" the budget to $27 million, or least made it match the figure claimed in the article body, but unfortunately the reference used was IMDB, and it is still the only reference available despite IMDB not being a Reliable Source.
- As of 2019 IMDB lists the budget as $27 million and the US Domestic gross as $58 million (quite a difference from the $68,352,926 mentioned above).
- Variety magazine often has budget information for films, and I was able to find an article that said the film distribution rights sold for $35 million at the American Film Market, but it doesn't mention what the original production costs actually were. Eventually found an older article from '93 estimating the budget at $33 million. The production section already mentions the high cost of traditional animation and how the film went overbudget, so I guess Variety saying $33 million is more reliable than IMDB. -- 109.76.225.8 (talk) 04:49, 15 May 2019 (UTC)

Deleted/Extended Scenes section
This section is, in my opinion, very poorly written (as if it were from someone who has English as a second language.) In addition, there are no references for that section.98.162.209.39 (talk) 14:19, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Definitely. I don't really know how to use Wikipedia other than for simple edits, but is there a way to mark that section as poorly written and lacking citations? I'd edit it myself but I don't have enough information about the subject to do so. As it is, it doesn't make enough sense to be useful. Clonkex (talk) 00:47, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
Is this based on a book or not?
I tagged the article as being contradictory. Exactly as this section says on the tin. Well? Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 07:12, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
According to Amazon, the book attributed to Todd Strasser is actually a book made from the movie. This is not a typical adaptation. The screenplay for the movie was written before any books were published. [1] AmandaonFiction (talk) 16:04, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
