1999 film?=

The page title says 1999, but the first line of the body text says 2000. I could change the first line, but judging from the infobox it ought indeed to be 2000, and the title is wrong. Anyone mind me changing it? Maybe I'm missing something Perplextase (talk) 00:29, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Rightist Movement

Towards the end of the movie, it is revealed that the text book that narrator's father used was not the prescribed (by the government) text but one he wrote himself. This is likely the reason why the government had an issue with him. --124.43.218.47 (talk) 23:44, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, where does it say the government had an issue with the film? Secondly, the narrator merely said the lesson is written by his father instead of from the textbook. 130.126.75.181 (talk) 04:55, 6 April 2008 (UTC)cecikierk[reply]
I think that, within the film (diegetically), there's a mention that the government considers him right-leaning and he's taken from his profession, although he later returns. Anyway, the text isn't particularly political, it's mainly statements like "there are four seasons, all weathers are useful, learn both from the heaven and earths" and stuff like that. 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * (talk) 20:08, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
