Sharon Curley was not raped in the film.

In the film version, Sharon stumbled out of a party at a large hotel and made her way to the car park and stood next to a car. After George Burgess noticed her being clearly in a stupor, he asked her, "Are you OK, Sharon?". Sharon then said to herself aloud, "a man". She then flung her arms around Mr. Burgess and pulled him down on top of her on the bonnet of the parked car at which point they engaged in sex. After the deed was done, Burgess walked off. Sharon then said aloud "Who was that?", indicating that she was so drunk she didn't know what she was doing, or at least with whom she did it.

The Snapper was a largely funny film, perhaps for adults only, but still a feel-good story in the end. None of the scenes should be considered violent or criminal.2A02:2454:9875:1E00:456E:5CAE:EE14:514E (talk) 14:44, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
