Box Office Gross
There is no verification for the claim that "The film set a new box office record in Hong Kong." It's only a link to a book by John Little who says it did. There needs to be a link or citation to an actual verifiable source of gate receipts or box office records proving the revenue for Way of the Dragon was a new Hong Kong record. I will give the original author of this entry time to explain why this unverified claim in the entry should not be removed. If no expxlanation or alternative source is provided, I will remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foamy Latte (talk • contribs) 23:12, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
DVD
Is there really a need for every single fact about the DVD releases? They cover more of the article than the actual movie. DudleyScardsdale 18:55, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Soundtrack and Lee
I suggest mentioning that Lee played on some of the music for the soundtrack. --Bentonia School 05:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Trivia Section Change
I'm removing the part about "Ah Lung". In Cantonese "Ah Lung" is just informal for Tang Lung's full name, and not really a different name. It's like how Johnathan is the same as John. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.140.44.211 (talk) 05:59, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- True, but that informal version is used throughout the whole film. We could make mention of that informality. Its been 30 years since I saw the movie, and I still remember the phrase / complaint "Its always Ah Lung!" Since this is the English and not the Chinese Wikipedia, I would add it again- but it isn't worth an edit war. I will refrain, then, and call it Wu-Wei. :) Know Einstein (talk) 21:36, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- I get what you mean, but Jonathan and John are not the same name (different biblical characters). You meant "Jonathan" and "Jon", maybe. Kumagoro-42 13:52, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Who are Tony and Jimmy?
The article says "After Tang leaves, Uncle Wang kills Tony and Jimmy" with no explanation of who Tony and Jimmy are. Vaughan Pratt (talk) 19:01, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
Title
As per IMDb, the Hong Kong English title is "The Way of the Dragon", same as the title for the US distribution (and other countries'). "Way of the Dragon" was used only in the UK. Kumagoro-42 13:52, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
- IMDb is not a reliable source. The 1994 biography of Lee, from a US publisher, refers to the title as Way of the Dragon throughout. I am reverting the article to that. Any change will require credible referencing. Sweetpool50 (talk) 17:34, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
