Some notes

I would like to give some notes:

Thomas won the gold-medal in the individual on February 18th, 2006, with 0.1 points ahead his team-mate Andreas Kofler; after the first leg, Kofler was ahead Morgenstern with a small margin - and now Morgenstern did achieve the gold medal with the smallest margin which is possible (except being equal - and until that February 18th, 2006, no "jumping gold medal" was decided by such a small margin). Kofler wasn't only Morgenstern's team-mate, but he and Morgenstern did sleep in the same room when Austrian team was in Turin (or on the "World Cup Route"). - I don't know about your knowing about all reasons for point-givings. One of it is the opinion of the judges. Maybe, a judge will give 18.5 points or 19.0 points (best note is 20)? I would like to compare with a football referee who does his job with accurance. But does he see if a misconduct did happen in the penalty area or outside of it? Does he (or an AR) see if the ball is behind the goal line in its whole? I remember final match in the 1966 World Cup. Swiss Referee Dienst (and his AR) did see the ball behind, in later time it was said that it wasn't. 213.225.0.117 (talk) 10:27, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
