Church Commissioners' Gothic
I'm not sure it was the age of photography that really brought the "Commissioner's Gothic" into disrepute - it was one of the main early targets of A.W.N Pugin - who did hand drawn sketches and a systematic exploration of the gothic - and was widely criticised within those circles at the time. --Joopercoopers (talk) 16:45, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
