There is a clear differences between "lying when it matters" and "lying when it does not matter", which is exactly the distinction the article is making. Despite this, without any explanation or context, the current version has a Proverb against a "lying tongue" randomly thrown in the middle. This does not really seem to fit here, given that this is a specific article about the commandment.

It should either be removed or highlighted as a case where there are prohibitions against "any" lying, in other parts of the Bible.

Please let me know if this is a change that would be supported? Ftrotter

This has always baffled me. Jesus said "I will destroy the temple". He did not tell his listeners that he was speaking of his body, not the Temple. Under the Reformed Doctrine section, there's a quote of Matthew Henry that isn't set apart like they are with the John Calvin quotes. Not sure how to change it or even if it really needs to be changed, or I would do it myself. 68.96.208.116 (talk) 02:06, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
