Biography

Uhm. This "biography" is an exact copy of the one at http://tom-cavanagh.biography.ms/

Actually, that's an exact copy of this one. Look at the footer. — mæstro t/c, 12:11, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

wouldn't a pic of him in 'ed' make more sense? Eddus 16:54, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How do I pronounce

Hi, I'm coming from Serbian wiki and I wonder how his surname is pronounced. IPA or something. Thanks --77.46.190.27 (talk) 10:52, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What cause?

"In the summer of 2008, he founded the Cavanagh Classic, an annual celebrity basketball tournament in Rucker Park in New York City to raise money and awareness for the cause. Cavanagh travelled to Rwanda on a March 2009 United Nations Foundation trip to distribute the nets and educate the recipients in their use."

What cause? This reads as if one should already know, like it had been referred to earlier. As far as I can tell it wasn't and nothing in the name Cavanagh Classic makes it readily apparent. Am I missing something? I assume the nets being distributed are the ones used to cover beds and prevent malaria, but then again nets are used in basketball. I don't mean to be nit picky but isn't the aim here to inform people based on the assumption that they know nothing about whatever subject they're researching? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephlet (talkcontribs) 23:32, 24 January 2011 (UTC) Oops, I forgot to sign that. Sorry. Okay, I did a Google search. The actual name of it is NOTHING BUT NETS CAVANAGH CLASSIC Charity Hoops. It's to raise money for Nothing But Nets a campaign with the intent to raise awareness and funding to combat malaria by sending nets to families that need them. I found the information here: http://www.nothingbutnets.net/blogs/cavanaghs-recap-the-classic.html I don't want to make the edit because I don't really know what I'm doing and the last time I tried, I ended up deleting a whole page. An unnamed Earth

I don't have access to the scene in question but the Hill Billy Wells, Mime Wells, and English Wells are all from named Earths. He also played the Original Harrison Wells in the first season for like an episode or two. 99.245.18.14 (talk) 23:16, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1968 DOB

I just now see there was an edit war over the year of his birth because no reliable source says 1963 (I've since found one). But there's also none that say 1968 - the DOB was removed from the TV Guide page, so I don't really think there's evidence that says it's correct. Plus the Canadian Encyclopedia entry for him says he graduated college in 1987, which would surely make 1968 impossible since he finished high school and did a year of college elsewhere. Just felt like elaborating on my edit summary or making a section if someone feels like challenging it. Nohomersryan (talk) 21:04, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Nohomersryan: If you've got a better source, then feel free to add that to the article, and change the DOB. But the rest of us editors can only go off what's in the provided sourcing, so if the sources being used are incorrect then they need to be replaced with corrected/updated sources. --IJBall (contribstalk) 21:17, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for responding, I added it before posting this message. Just felt like posting a longer thing here instead of rambling in the edit summary. Nohomersryan (talk) 21:23, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
