Cherry picking

Of the information contained in the sources cited to support notability, there are views which should be expressed in this article. Cheery-picking favourable coverage is an issue in this case. Flat Out (talk) 04:09, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Question, how is this person notable?

He's a Youtube personality. 70.117.96.108 (talk) 03:42, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't it be mentioned that he's an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist and has claimed the Holocaust was voluntary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Regressive210 (talkcontribs) 10:35, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominating for speedy deletion : Lack of notability and vanity page

This page was deleted on 3rd May 2014 for lack of notability and vanity. See deletion log [1]. This individual is not notable enough to warrant an encyclopedia hence why they have not received

speedily deleted. 2.25.102.133 (talk) 01:02, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply

You need to read the criteria better. The article was not deleted because of a previous deletion discussion and it's not unambiguous advertising. You will need to nominate the article at
WP:AFD to delete it. --NeilN talk to me 01:46, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply

Source material

Here's some potential source material for the article: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], and [11]. A biography is a detailed description of a person's life that portrays a person's experience of life events. Apparently, Sotomayor was born in Colón Panama in 1975, but none of the source material mentions this most basic biography fact, and do not substantially go into Sotomayor's experience of life events (early life, career, etc.). There may be additional source material out there. -- Jreferee (talk) 17:10, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Subject matter

July 2015 he comments on the Hulk Hogan conversation recording controversy at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddmEANrZWXE and I was wondering if we should make mention as this being one of the subject matters he is involved with. Not sure if it counts as men's rights. 174.92.135.167 (talk) 06:35, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tommy Sotomayor's legal name is Thomas Jerome Harris. He was arrested several times. Once for failure to pay child support. County Fulton, GA Booking Number722513. He also was arrested for battery and had a restraining order placed on him. Cyntemq1972 (talk) 03:09, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've indef protected this page due to persistent vandalism.
I noticed there was a comment about his name and this was removed recently; User:Grayfell, would this sourcing be enough to verify it? [12][13]. I won't edit myself as I just protected it.
p.s. This bio could do with more actual biographical detail, and I wonder if he's really notable. Fences&Windows 22:49, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I removed it because there was no included source at all. Non-controversial details, such as full names, can be supported by primary sources such as court documents. An obscure primary court document supplemented by an opinion-ish news blurb... I guess this works? It's obviously on the flimsy side, but as far as I can see, nobody is contesting that this is pseudonym used for youtube. If this is controversial, or contested, we should be able to explain why. I will add this to the article, but I have no objection if anybody wants to revert pending better sources. Grayfell (talk) 23:03, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing and Unclear.

Hey- I just came to this page to learn something about Tommy Sotomayor.... I will tell you, I came here knowing nothing about him, and I left the page knowing nothing more about him. I read the whole page, and I will tell you it is VERY confusing.... and does not have much good information in it.

My guess is whoever wrote this is dancing around being politically correct or something. But because you are so self censoring, there is no information of any value kleft on this page.

For Instance....

"Podcast controversy"- first sentence is run on and makes no sense. I would try and fix it but I have no idea what the point of this is. Did Sotomayor shoot the video? Why is it associated to him- it looks to me like he just aired someone elses video. So what- this should be on the page of whoever shot the video, not someone who played it on a podcast dont you think? The whole rest makes no sense and really needs to be cleaned up and fixed so there is an actual narrative.... and a reason for inclusion.

"Media"

The whole first 'graph has nothing to do with Sotomayor (other than he was quoted). Would like to see what he said that was so objectionable.

Second graph again really says nothing about Sotomayor or adds anything to the article.

Nowhere are Sotomayor's actual words used.... I honestly don't know what side he is on. Racism is alleged but not shown, and no I wont just take your word for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:681:4002:1660:34BA:E18C:565:EA1F (talk) 19:50, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Official Website" link

Microsoft Security Essentials says that the link provided to Sotomayor's website is fake and is possibly a phishing scam.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.197.11.18 (talk)

Microsoft Security Essentials is probably a waste of your time. But I've removed that link from the article. It's still in the infobox. MPS1992 (talk) 00:49, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Remove "Sotomayor has referred to Black Lives Matter as a "thug group.""

The linked citation/source says Houck, not Sotomayor, called BLM a "thug group" Discip1ine (talk) 22:48, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Extremely misogynistic content ignored

Not only is this person not a REAL notable personality of any kind, he makes extreme hate content about black women and has done so for years. This is a huge part of his brand that is not in the article 2600:8807:2085:7700:B09A:80A9:C3FA:2870 (talk) 01:35, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Shame on Wikipedia

I have made contributions to Wikipedia in the past, but I never will again. Wikipedia should be ashamed of itself for posting this ridiculous NOTHING. This article is less than unfair; it contains virtually NOTHING about Sotomayor. It should be scrapped because it contains virtually NOTHING about the man. Critical comments I can understand, but the author of this erase piece apparently doesn't dare to take that approach; instead, it seeks to disappear Mr. Sotomayor by simply filling an article that is supposedly about him with NOTHING about him. I will be back. There are articles about Mr. Sotomayor that talk about his life, his accomplishments and disappointments. I will be posting them here. 2600:8801:AF1A:4B00:1880:2BD9:96E5:7AFE (talk) 16:15, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
