Accent

The title has an acute accent but the article starts off with a grave accent. Which is it?

User:Phil Bridger, her official website has the accent grave, but her instagram, YouTube and Facebook pages do not use any accent mark at all. Nor is it used in the Boca-a-boca poster on which she appears. Apple music has the acute, but Spotify and IMDB (all of which are linked at her official website) do not use any accent mark. Her official website says that the word is "pronounced as in the French 'very'," which, together with its use of the grave, is reasonable evidence that it is intended to be spelled the same as the French word, with the grave. If you agree, I'll change the article name and make any other conforming changes. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:06, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

It might be better to wait till the AfD is done (of course if it's a "delete" there will be no issue). Some people get a bit touchy about moving articles when there is an AfD open.

Good point. BTW, if you have an opinion, please contribute it to the AfD, as that seems to be going very slowly. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:31, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
