I believe that in the article, there should be some indication as to the difference between Keystone and Umbrella species as the definitions, to me, seem very similar.Tangleymere (talk) 10:00, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Articles seem to have similar scope. Furthermore, the issue of how to define and use the concept of umbrella species is directly tied to the effect of focusing on umbrella species for conservation, aka. the umbrella effect. Daask (talk) 00:39, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
