- Note this article has been heavily edited by representatives if this organization and it shows. This is an estimable organization but its article here is a mere extension of its website and full of typical PR fluff. Not only does it read like a press release instead of an encyclopedia article, it is also utterly devoid of references to reliable published sources which are independent of the UKCP. I've cleaned up some of the most egregious examples, but it needs a lot more work, and preferably not by representatives of the UKIP. Voceditenore (talk) 13:45, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

- The link provided with the request is to a listing of PDF files. If the actual reference is contained somewhere within this list, then that PDF is the item which needs to be provided with the edit request.

- Thanks for your feedback. The link was to the list of terminations and appointments at Companies House but I have instead linked to a PDF source. Thanks for your help. Varietyraising (talk) 11:42, 26 October 2023 (UTC)

- Implemented The article has additionally had its unreferenced and promotional items omitted, while the COI maintenance template has been deleted. The list which mentioned different sections of the organization was omitted because none of the listings were Wikilinked. The text describing abuse was also deleted because the reference provided with it could not be verified. Regards, Spintendo 10:55, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

I work for the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and I would like to request the following changes:
Please remove the second sentence from the intro/lead paragraph: ‘It is restricted to registered clinical psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors.’
This sentence should be deleted because membership of UKCP is not restricted in this way. UKCP has membership categories for clinical psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors, organisations, students, trainees, non-clinical practitioners, retired and affiliate members - see: https://www.psychotherapy.org.uk/join-us/. A list of membership categories is probably too granular for an introduction and could sound too promotional so probably better to simply remove that sentence.
