I don't understand why a company infobox is being used instead of a software infobox... Gflores Talk 14:35, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- Nevermind, it shouldn't be a software infobox, it's a development project. It's still not a company. Meh, no big deal. I'll leave it as it is. Gflores Talk 02:47, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- The infobox erroneously described the VideoLAN project as a non-profit company, and the infobox contained almost no real information. I removed it. – Ringbang 17:07, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- Just to clarify: Legaly, the VideoLAN project is part of the French association VIA Centrale Réseaux (http://www.via.ecp.fr) which is a Loi 1901 Association (basically a non profit association). dionoea 13:08, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

VLMC
Should a link to VLMC downloads at https://trac.videolan.org/vlmc/wiki/Downloads be added? the current VLMC link does not lead you there. There are 0.2.0 versions made before 2014, To get a version from 2014-04-02/2015-01-26 I suppose you have to download source from http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlmc.git and compile yourself. Otherwise use the precompiled "unstable" version from 2011.
I can't find references of the date 2014-10-30 mentioned in the article though, but it was originally written as "(status 2014-10-30)" so that was probably not meaning release date but "latest version currently/today" ? What I can see there was a pause in development after Oct 2012, before it started again Jan 2014 - Apr 2014. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.69.249.162 (talk) 04:43, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

- I've tweaked the coordinates in the article to correspond to the address of 18 rue Charcot. You haven't, however, explained what you thought was wrong with the coordinates; if you still think that there is an error, you'll need to provide a clear explanation of what it is.
