]City Seal
I've returned the City Seal to the page. It was removed by some bots because of the inadequacy of my fair use explanation. Hopefully I've done a better job of documenting it this time. Optimistmb (talk) 19:07, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Removing Undocumented Historic Sites
- Mclendon Meadows
- Hickory Point
- Cedars Glen
- Whitney Heights
- The Reserve @ Reid Plantation
- Berkley Park
- Townsend Village
- Harlan Heights
This message is a note to any concerned with my removal of the above list from the Villa Rica article. The list appears under Historic Sites and is quoted verbatim. No reasons or background documentation were given for the inclusion of these "historic sites." I believe they are all subdivions in the Villa Rica area. While subdivisions are part of the history of the community, they are not significant simply by their existance. Anyone wishing to see these locations included in the article would best serve the article by including appropriate reasons and background historical information. It is worth noting that The Reserve is a grand old building that was restored and serves as the welcome center for the Reid Plantation subdivision and would likely make a reasonable entry with proper support. Bodies of water in Villa Rica
According to the infobox, Villa Rica has around 0.2 sq miles of water. This would around 128 acres. Mirror Lake is itself a 210 acre lake and there are several other lakes along with numerous streams which are partially or completely contained within the boundaries of Villa Rica. Off the top of my head, I would guess the figure should be at least 0.5 sq miles or more. I will see what I can do to figure out an accurate number. Other recomendations along these lines are appreciated. Optimistmb (talk) 21:15, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Removed Parameters On Addressed Problems
I removed the imageneeded=yes parameter and the unref=yes parameter from the WikiProject GeorgiaUS banner shell. As of this date, the main article has six images and seventeen references. Optimistmb (talk) 02:29, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
