Honey

I don't get the article. The first sentence says they make honey from nectar ("Nectar is a sugar-rich liquid produced by plants in glands called nectaries"), the text says they make it from meat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.37.61.2 (talk) 08:22, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

They make two substances, apparently, one from meat and a second, which according to [1] Camargo and Roubik call a "sweet, clear honey... of unknown origin". The latter might be from nectar. 4pq1injbok (talk) 11:03, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't actually seem like they make honey out of meat. Reading the sources it seems that mostly they are substituting pollen for meat and making bee bread with it, and not making honey. Quixoticelixer- (talk) 03:23, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah seems like they do not make sugar out of meat. https://www.jstor.org/stable/25085725 Quixoticelixer- (talk) 03:55, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
the article needs to make clear that the honey is of unknown origin, at the moment its very confusing Dailen05 (talk) 22:46, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
think i'll do that now actually Dailen05 (talk) 22:47, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good critique of this article

In its current state this article relies on flimsy sources. 73.193.123.12 (talk) 11:01, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad source

Im 90% sure this article was written by AI. Its also vague, awkwardly worded, and unsourced in itself.
