Ruskin
I don't think Ruskin ever lived there - Ruskin has a school named after him (although it is just in Camberwell) and a road but I think they may be a bequest. I also think that Michael Caine is Rotherhithe. Secretlondon 14:21, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
- Ruskin did have local connections in Walworth; although he lived in Camberwell. The attribution of Michael Caine being 'from' Rotherhithe is that he was born in the maternity hospital, St Olave's Hospital, there. His family and himself came from and lived in Walworth. 79.75.2.246 (talk) 02:02, 24 April 2008 (UTC)(Tony S)
John Wemmick
The fictional character John Wemmick of Dickens' Great Expectations is listed here as an "ex-resident." As he is a character of fiction, however, he never lived there. Personally, I don't think fictional characters belong in such sections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.45.197.169 (talk) 20:06, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
