Vesalius

Vesalius is named in notable people. Vesalius never lived in Wesel (as far as I know), was born in Belgium and died in Greece, so why is he a notable in Wesel? The confusion might have to do with his name. Andreas Vesalius is presumed to be the Latinized form of the name Andries van Wesel (which in itself is not correctly spelled in the opening of the article). It is assumed that his great-grandfather may have had something to do with Wesel, but that would mean his great-grandfather should be mentioned under notable people (with a reference). 78.94.176.74 (talk) 15:33, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
