Anyone have any idea why he did not want to be credited for his role as KITT in Knight Rider? -Mike Payne 14:09, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm speculating, but as this was a stupid and poorly written program, he was probably happy to take the money and avoid any explicit association. The fact that KITT was perceived as being in love with Michael -- what one acid-tongued reviewer called "auto-homoeroticism" -- was likely another reason he was grateful for choosing anonymity, if only in retrospect. His career is otherwise a fairly distinguished one. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 14:54, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He was also good as a gun-toting "liberal" in the surreal political/countercultural/secret agent spoof "The President's Analyst" (with James Coburn as the title character- 1967). 71.194.142.25 00:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot find a credit for it but did he do a voice-over for the navigator's voice in Dr. Strangelove? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.254.221.17 (talk) 03:29, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cameo on ER?

Was that William Daniels in the elevator with Neela on the March 19, 2009 episode. It sure did look like him. He was in the elevator with headphones on listening to rap music. He didn't say anything. I think it is him, but can not confirm it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.214.31.221 (talk) 01:26, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adams x 3

William Daniels was cast as Samuel Adams (cousin of John Adams and John Quincy Adams) in a 1980s TV miniseries about the American Revolution -- I think it was based on the John Jakes series of books. Thus he's played three members of that illustrious family. WHPratt(talk) 14:49, 3 January 2011 (UTC) Corrected -- cousin, not brother to John Adams. WHPratt (talk) 15:37, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography?

Is there some reason I'm not aware of why it's not in standard filmography (ie. table) format? Should I fix it? –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 02:13, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary birthday headers

Shouldn't the two birthday tabs above be removed? One is from April, and another in May, when this man's birthday is in March. Wikipedia is not a birthday wishing place -- that is more designed to contact the star's website or mailing address. The two "wishes" do not have anything to do with new data for Daniels' page. Agreed. I've removed the, essentially, spam comments. ——Digital Jedi Master (talk) 03:59, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
