Windsor (ship)? — There are alot of ships called "Windsor", this ship article should be named something else. 76.66.193.224 (talk) 02:00, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My suggestions include

Since the other ships by this name are not sloops/sloops of war

  • Support move to Windsor (sloop) and open to other suggestions. Agree the disambiguator should be more specific than just (ship). Andrewa (talk) 17:02, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

Any additional comments:

Are there any other Wikipedia articles for ships named Windsor? If not, then there is no problem with the current name. Unless these other ships named Windsor that are significant enough to have their own article, (ship) is probably the simplest disambiguator to use. --Polaron | Talk 14:38, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there are, see Windsor#Transport. Andrewa (talk) 17:04, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
