Y for Yokels
Is this a joke? Is there a source for this? Surely it would be Y for Yoker or something similar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Perman17 (talk • contribs) 11:42, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Yoker is in Glasgow (zone G8) on the other side of the river, the Y area has no towns beginning with Y, the majority of the area forms InverclYde and it has the town WemYss BaY. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.14.96.150 (talk) 10:02, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
So Y doesn't mean anything, then? Why have it down as "Yokels"? --
