Tell Elkarame (
Al-Dana Nahiyah in Harem District, Idlib. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Tell Elkarame had a population of 3785 in the 2004 census.[1]
History
The village which was known as Tall 'Aqibrīn, contains a 900 metres (3,000 ft) long section of the
Sassanids on the Euphrates
.
In the vicinity of Tall 'Aqibrīn occurred the Battle of Ager Sanguinis, where Roger of Salerno was killed.[4]
