Murder of Robert Wykel

  • ALT1:... that when King County detectives asked Myron Wynn for his attorney's name when he refused a polygraph during their investigation into the murder of Robert Wykel, last seen 20 years ago today, he replied "Does it matter?"
  • Reviewed: Pura Vida Bracelets
  • Comment: As the hooks suggest this is another one where I'm looking for a specific date, in this case February 23.

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral and appears to be compliant with policy. I think the first hook is better, but neither hook is permissible because they are too long (210 and 220 characters). Also, the matter of the diamond was only one of the factors that may have persuaded the jury, so we need a shorter hook that does not pin the conviction entirely on the diamond. OK, let's try:
ALT2: ... that a distinctive diamond helped secure a bodyless murder conviction in the case of Robert Wykel, last seen 20 years ago today?
I count this at 127 characters, with space. Daniel Case (talk) 23:46, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT2 is acceptable. Ready to go for February 23. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:27, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
