Logically the RX Vega 56 should have 56 ROPs. I know https://gaming.radeon.com/en-us/product/vega/radeon-rx-vega-56/ says 64 but it is likely an error. There is a lot of confusion/errors at the moment about the specs of the RX Vega 56 in general, eg. some sources say 256 texture units, others 224, gaming.radeon.com doesn't say, so the specs about the ROPs could be in error. The number ROPs are not necessarily coupled to the number of CUs, while the number of shaders TMUs are strictly coupled to the compute unit number. (See Graphics_Core_Next#Compute_Units) The sources I have read and cited say 224 TMUs (56*4). Dbsseven (talk) 23:18, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Did not know that about the ROPs. Thanks. Mbevand (talk) 18:24, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
