September 2006
Though I like the sound of the full "Chicago Bears American Football Club", from a quick Google check it seems this name only exists on Wikipedia and mirrors. If no one has any evidence to the contrary, I'll change this pretty soon. It's too bad though, I wish more American teams had official names like that. Xyzzyva 09:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Monday Night Miracle
For NFL Lore, that nickname seems a bit too commonplace. A similar nickname could be applied to the Cowboys-Bills game this year. Or, here's an already pre-existing
- I agree with you, especially since there is already an article named "Monday Night Miracle". I've heard various names for the game though, including the "The Miracle in the Desert" (from Fox Chicago). Or however, it could be called "Crown Em'" or They Are Who We Thought They Were!". I'll see if I could find some official sources that give it a specific name. --ShadowJester07 ► Talk 20:30, 13 January 2008 (UTC)]

Important Figures
What makes a player 'noteworthy' to be mentioned in the 'Important Figures' section of this template. The sections seemingly contains the name of every first round draft pick the team has drafted within the past quarter century - regardless if they made a positive impact or not - or recent first round picks who have yet actually establish themselves as important in Bears' lore (ex Greg Olsen). Nothing against Olsen, but how can one put him in a section where he is compared to Mike Singletary, Ditka, Papa Bear, and William Perry? Even Doug Flutie is on there and he only played 2 meaningless years for the Bears. :p This section needs revision-- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 15:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Doug Flutie? I see Cade McClown. Even Rex can be dumped. Curtis Enis... Bust. So, somehow, this template lost its definition of "important". KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 09:43, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
The list
For now, I'll just strike through the ones who shouldn't be listed here. Boldface the definite. Not every Hall of Famer is a definite either, for some spent most of their careers play for other teams. Principle would be like the Jets including Brett Favre. 2001 = Cardiac Kids
OK. Looking at how "Cardiac Kids" is linked to the Bears 2001 season, I'm looking for any kind of outside source that makes the same reference. So, far, I do not see any. KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 09:31, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

The items listed under "Lore" need to be scrutinized a bit here. Dead givaways include the
