Line Abbreviations

I've abbreviated the line names at the bottom to minimise space - the trick with these diagrams is to no let them get too wide or they get very cumbersome when inserted into articles. I think they're still clear. Great to see the additional junction too - I thought of putting it in but couldn't work it out. Cnbrb (talk) 15:42, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Updated track arrangements

did a quick tidy up of some of the track on this map. Abbeyhill junction was lifted some time ago, so the line "straight on" is disused. Also, Easter Road Junction was lifted towards Abbeyhill, but not towards Meadowbank, and is still used by trains to Powderhall. After Newcraighall, the track continues onwards to the ECML (route used by freight from Millerhill). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tastyniall (talkcontribs) 15:21, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Abbeyhill Junction had been lifted as part of the ECML electriciation, also resulted in the closure of Meadowbank station. Had not noticed that that the RDT was inaccurate in that respect. --Stewart (talk | edits) 15:25, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
