Notes

"Specialist" doesn't link to a proper article (just a disambig page). I suggest we list them together (like this: Market maker, Specialist ). Anybody disagrees? Peter S. 12:01, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exchanges

What's the criterion for inclusion of exchanges in this template. Some of the exchanges are not notable, eg: Zimbabwe and Botswana. While many notable exchanges are not included. eg: Paris, Shanghai. I believe the list in the template should be replaced with a link to

List of stock exchanges --DuKot 00:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply

Agreed. The current list is too long. Finnancier 04:13, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Debt/capital ratio

Although it is used less frequently than the other ratios in this template, I think it would be useful to include the

debt/capital ratio. Before this can happen, however, the article needs to be improved. Is anyone able to improve the article quality sufficiently to include it here? --Zach425 talk/contribs 03:17, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply

I agree with this, but have been editing in other areas. I'll put a notice up on the {WikiProject Finance} notice board.—DMCer 14:43, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stock broker

I think the stock broker should be included as a stock market participant and the template should be added to the stock broker page. Trilby*foxglove (talk) 10:31, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Financial Markets" or "Stock Market" template?

It's a little weird to me that this is a "Financial Markets" template when it seems to be almost entirely about stock markets. There's no mention of FX, bonds, commodities, or derivatives as there is on the other financial markets template. Equilibrium007 (talk) 00:32, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
