Tovil station is a closed railway station on the

Medway Valley Line
. The station opened in 1884 and closed in 1943.

History

The Medway Valley Line opened from

signal box closed in 1929.[3] The station closed in 1943[4]
and was demolished soon afterwards. The short branch line to Tovil Goods closed in 1977.

In 2008, it was suggested that the station should be re-opened.[4]
