Turkman Bareh (
Nahiya Akhtarin of Azaz District. Nearby localities include Dabiq 5 km (3.1 mi) to the west and Akhtarin 4 km (2.5 mi) to the south. In the 2004 census, Turkman Bareh had a population of 1,537.[1] The town is inhabited by Turkmen.[2]
The town has been in close proximity to sustained fighting in the Syrian civil war.
