Urad [ˈurat] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Cybinka, within Słubice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the border of Germany.[1]

It lies on the

Oder river, approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Cybinka, 13 km (8 mi) south-east of Słubice, 64 km (40 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and 66 km (41 mi) north-west of Zielona Góra. It is located within the historic Lubusz Land
.

History

There are several archaeological sites from the

Oder River) the majority of the village became again part of Poland, and its name was Polonized. A few remaining houses left of the Oder became part of East Germany and were incorporated into the municipality of Ziltendorf
