Observing the above, I really do look pretty sad, signing up to wikipedia at 7pm on New Years Eve. I went out after, honest!
Anyway, I've decided that since I don't think I'd be particularly good at creating new content, I'll try to become more active in copyediting existing articles and contributing to processes such as
. In retrospect, perhaps starting off by attacking featured article candidates isn't the best move, since they tend to be long, but I'm not going to back out now. And it's a great opportunity to learn a lot about a variety of subjects while helping develop Wikipedia.
Well, isn't that just typical. Exactly a month after I join the League of Copyeditors, the project dies and is marked inactive. Ah well - on to the Chemical and Bio Engineering project, maybe they need some copyediting doing...
