I am a PhD student of African History, mostly interested in Horn of Africa and Great Lakes - particularly Rwanda, Somalia, Ethiopia. Contributing to articles on African Politics/History to ensure balance and remove bias.

My current research interests are on media and scholarly portrayals of Rwanda since the Genocide, US Africa Policy in the post-colonial era, and - so for the most part, my edits will reflect those recent interests, as well as my more general interests in African politics and the Horn of Africa. I'll be doing a lot of new research and will edit the pages that I come across which strike me as incomplete - partly for procrastination and partly to leave a legacy for others doing what I'm doing in the future!

I am currently working on the International Response to the Rwandan Genocide,- as well as creating pages for Rwandan Bilateral relations with Belgium and Uganda. I am also planning on improving several other Rwanda-related pages, as well as updating relevant pages when African current affairs dictates it.

My previous work has been on laying the foundations for the 2021 Malian Coup d'Etat page, and on updating the History of Burundi and the Paul Rusesabagina pages, as I found them both incredibly sparse and lacking in well-cited information. I have also contributed to the debate around the death toll on the Rwandan Genocide page recently.
