Til (February 2012 – March 14, 2012) was a rare earless bunny who was crushed to death when a television cameraman stepped on him.[2][3] Til was born in a litter of 6 at a zoo in Limbach-Oberfrohna, Saxony, Germany. Til was going to be introduced as a new German celebrity animal but was a victim of the news team invited to film him. Til's death attracted world wide news coverage.

Til was named after

Keinohrhasen (Rabbits Without Ears).[4]

Til's body was frozen and will be stuffed and exhibited. The zoo has been offered replacement bunnies, but plans to reject them all.[5]
