Early Childhood and Adolescence

Peter Ivanov was born on December 25, 1993 in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain[1]. Shortly after his birth, his mother Hristina Ivanova moved back to her home city Sofia, Bulgaria, where Peter spent the majority of his childhood. At this time, Peter's father, Ivan Ivanov, was working in Czechoslovakia, trying to support his newborn son.

During the period of early 1990s until late 1990s, Bulgaria was suffering the after effect of the disbandment of the

Balkan Peninsula
was endangering the majority of the population from hyperinflation and an economic disaster.

Ivanov's early childhood was filled with the after-taste of the communist regime, but he was soon to see a light at the end of the tunnel. When he was 6, his mother became the manager of

Janssen-Cilag for Bulgaria
, which allowed her to send her son to a private elementary school.

Soon enough, his mother divorced Peter's father, remarried and gave birth to Peter's first brother - Pavel Stoykov

At the age of 16, his mother divorces for a second time and remarries for Roumen Kolev, who at that time resided in Canada and in 2010 leaves Bulgaria to ensure a brighter future for her sons in Canada.

On August 25, 2011, Peter's second brother, Rosen Kolev is born.

Education

Peter attended the priavte elementary school Sveta Sofia, located at the outskirts of the capital of Bulgaria, where he was schooled in English, German and Bulgarian.

He be began his secondary education at the prestigious high school of the American College of Sofia, where only a few selected receive acceptance. After attending it for a couple of years, his family moved to Canada.

Peter Ivanov currently attends Victoria Park Collegiate Institute for his post-secondary school studies, located in the heart of Toronto. He was enrolled in the prestigious International Baccalaureate program where he studied alongside many notable and over-achieving students such as Yuanling Yuan, Canada's best female chess place of all time and recent student of Yale University. He graduated Victoria Park C.I with an average of higher than 90 percent, distinguishing himself from his peers and earning an even more impressive reputation.

He is a notable member of the Victoria Park C.I school community as well as the North York community since he has formed a Journalists for Human Rights Chapter, determined to increase awareness of human rights issues that are occuring all over the world.

He was accepted into the top business school in Canada as an early offer of admission into the

Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Richard Ivey is known for its notable alumni including many CFOs and CEOs of top international businesses such as HSBC and Bell
.

He was also admitted into a new program called the Management and International Business Co-op Program at the University of Toronto. This admission offer can be seen as even more prestigious as his Ivey offer since this program is only open to an exclusive 25 students from all over Canada.

Achievements

Peter Ivanov was one of the few recognized students in the North York region for his humanitarian deeds. He is the founder of Journalists for Human Rights at Victoria Park Collegiate Institute that aims at spreading awareness about the injustice of humanity both locally and on a global level.

He is also recognized for his success at the business competition DECA by receiving a medal, for finishing as one of the Top 10 of the contesters in Toronto and the General Toronto Area.

Mr. Ivanov began his professional StarCraft II career in 2010 and now plays competitively against players from around the world
