Sheikh Mostafa Aboromman (born in June 13, 1954) is a Muslim Religious figure, and a former Imam. he worked at the Ministry Of Awqaf And Islamic Affairs in Jordan for almost 20 years as a Preacher. He embodies several forms of moderation regarding religious beliefs in Islam and other religions.

Ideologies

Mostafa Aboromman Ideologies tend to be democratic and liberal. He has always been a man of peace and tranquility. He believes that people around the world are able to live and co-exist with each other, regardless of their race, gender, religious beliefs, political views or sexuality.[1][2] And the formula to that harmony between people is to work together to defeat the overwhelming threat of extremists, who put the potential peace in the world at risk. And one of his biggest ideas is the total co-operation and peace between Islam and Christianity.[3][4]

Religious beliefs

Sheikh Aboromman is a moderate

Muslim, who takes a different view on a lot of subjects towards issues in Islam, Christianity and Judaism.[5] For an example, he believes that Homosexuality
is not a matter of choice, like the common answer of religious figures in all three religions, but rather a cause of hormones and genes. That theory has been studied and still being studied by scientists all over the world without a decisive evidence.

He also believes, on the contrary to what the majority of Muslims believe, that a person is not held accountable by God on the basis of his/her religion, but on the basis of believing that there is only one god, and believing of all of God's prophets, including

Jesus Christ, and obeying God, and doing good deeds.[6]
Most Muslims believe people cannot enter heaven unless they are Muslims, and the Christians and Jews are going to hell, regardless of good deeds and faith. And because of these beliefs, he is always being attacked and described as an infidel.

He has a vision of unity, between all three major religions. He has a very active social life dealing and co-operating with priests and reverends all over Jordan.

He dose not approve of Atheism, but he largely disapprove of any discrimination against Atheists. He also believes that the unfair and disrespectful claiming of extremists that they represent a certain religion, without being even close to embody it, is one of the main reasons and causes of Atheism.

Career

Mostafa Aboromman worked for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Jordan for more than 20 years as an Imam and a Preacher in different mosques in Jordan.[9] The last mosque was the most time he served in a single mosque, it was Suhaib Bin Sinan Mosque in the Sweifieh district in Amman.[10] He spent more than 10 years in that mosque. During his time as an Imam, he has appeared, and sill appearing on a huge number of televised interviews, on both local and non-local networks, regarding numerous issues. He has retired from his main job as an Imam in 2017.
